Your vehicle must already support the advertised functions for them to operate correctly. ? HOW TO FIT THE WING MIRROR. Installation should ideally be carried out by a qualified vehicle technician. Disconnect the battery Switch off the ignition and disconnect the vehicle battery where appropriate. Remove the interior door trim Carefully remove the interior door panel/trim and the triangular trim located behind the wing mirror. Use suitable trim-removal tools to avoid damaging clips. Disconnect the mirror wiring Locate the electrical connector for the existing wing mirror and carefully unplug it. Support the existing mirror Hold the mirror securely from outside while removing the retaining nuts or bolts from inside the door. Remove the old mirror Carefully lift the complete mirror assembly away from the vehicle. Install the replacement mirror Position the new mirror correctly against the door and secure it using the appropriate mounting hardware. Do not overtighten the fixings. Connect the electrical plug Connect the replacement mirror wiring to the vehicle’s original connector. Make sure the plug is fully seated and secure. Test all functions Before reinstalling the trim, test the electric adjustment, heating, power-folding and indicator functions. Refit the door trim Once everything is operating correctly, reinstall the triangular cover, door panel and any removed clips or screws. Paint the primed cover The mirror cover is supplied primed and ready for preparation/painting. For the best colour match and finish, professional painting is recommended.
